I started as a performer and began my training as a performer, specializing in classical western theatre (Shakespeare and his contemporaries, Moliere, Ancient Greek drama, etc.). I’ve performed in everything from a shadow puppet show to outdoor touring Shakespeare to an award-winning short film, and even a professional Japanese stage play. While I eventually branched out into all aspects of theatre creation, with acting moving to the back burner, I do continue to perform in my own projects.

I can be convinced to perform in other people’s projects, although I do so less and less these days. Either the pay has to be good, or the project has to be so interesting that I can’t refuse it.
