Nerd Nite
- Already in production for the one on the 17th
- Moving ticket providers because current one is unreliable
- Current one is revising to a pay-as-you-go model
- Meaning that our time of free bookings is done
- Basically screwing everyone who had a “lifetime” account
- Our account was removed for two weeks for no good reason
- Already switched to RSVPify for YTG shows because managing multiple dates on the old provider meant a completely new/separate event for each showtime
- Service fees are fine, but are really high if you’re selling cheap tickets (almost 200 on a 1000 yen ticket)
Podcasting
- Waiting for next recording date
- No editing time for Wayward Readers
Photography
- Have an upcoming corporate event shoot on the 15th
- My local competition for family photos is too rough
- This guy is a really good photographer
- As far as I can tell, he under charges by a huge amount
- Probably not his main source of income
- I won’t work for peanuts by trying to beat his prices
Life Updates
- Already planning what I’m going to do in Canada
- Doing some sewing and bringing clothes to patch and darn
- Get back to playing/practicing guitar regularly and learning some new stuff
