Recorded this on the morning of January 2 and planned to post it that evening, but then life happened. There’s a strain of influenza A tearing through my family and that night it put my mother in the emergency room, and the day she came home (Jan 4th) it put me in bed for 36+ hours. I still want to do the year-end review as episode 52, but it may have to wait until mid-week while I sort my life out. This entire trip to Canada has so far been defined by this virus, but I hope it gets better from here.
