In this update, I realize that the Oscars happened and I didn’t even notice. What I did notice was last week’s INTERFERENCE rehearsals which went a bit sideways. I talk about the last time I really lost my cool on a fellow creative. I’ve done it amazingly few times based on some of the role models I had early in my career. I’m sometimes very glad my career never took off early on. Maybe it’s just sour grapes, but I think success would have completely ruined me as a human. I think working on more marginal productions in marginal spaces with other people who are giving their time freely to the project has made me a better person. I don’t actually talk about this in the update… maybe I should have. Maybe that’s a good topic for a future update.
