YTG Updates:
Jekyll and Hyde Mainstage
- Big decisions have been made
- We did a lot of compromising
- Rather than making hard choices, we’ve done a lot of “Why Not Both?” which I hope doesn’t come back to bite us
- We’ve split the show into two acts
- Even have different staging set up
- Couldn’t agree between traverse/alley staging and what I call “The Funnel”: a pointy thrust stage
- Mostly to avoid not having consensus
- Read “The Communist Manifesto” last week as inspiration
- I have a lot of scenes to make next week
- Next week, we don’t have the theatre space at all! And we’ve lost our Monday night.
- Starting to feel the stress

- Going to do Hammy’s Japanese passport paperwork today
- Then off to the new Spiderverse movie before it leaves theatres completely
- Have a paid job tomorrow doing livestreaming for a pole dancing show
- Sunday, I am going to try to see The Whale (play) and then rip my way across town for the premiere of Dr Whom’s new film “Spoiled Identity” that I did some work on
