We started doing dance workouts as part of the training this week
- Humiliating to be the old man who can’t dance
- The others are being very kind to me
We’re dividing duties a little more clearly now
- This is something we haven’t done since 2019 and never quite so clearly
- But we’ve got a different mix of skills and it doesn’t make sense to have people spending so much rehearsal time on doing things that won’t contribute to the show at this point
- Aleyna, Claire, and Chan are working on costume inventory
- Johanna is working on sound
- Victrola is doing inventory when they’re not documenting the rehearsals
- Jana, Clara, Kaito, Flavia, Merritt, and I are devising, with input and support from the other, as necessary
Inventory is moving ahead
- Just using Google Sheets and putting off the ultimate decision about how to
Set meeting this week was great
- We’re going to move ahead on the build
- Aleyna said the drawings have all she needs
- She should start building as early as Tuesday
I’m negotiating with JDS to get us more time in the space (adding Tuesdays for set building, and Thursdays for acting rehearsals; people will decide which ones they go into)
