Didn’t get my taxes done, despite spending hours on them, but I actually have a surprising number of updates.
YTG
- Summer show
- Had our 7th (?) meeting
- Only four of us there, so we didn’t get too much further
- We’re talking about getting that set designed soon, so I hope more updates about that over the next month!
- Interviewed two more interns who are now going to be joining us
- One is actually interested in production management!

NERD NITE
- Nerd Nite last Friday went well (attaching some photos: check out the post on the website for those)
- Two great speakers on curing cancer and the morality of large language models; short talks but really good Q&A
- The videos are available for free to watch on the Nerd Nite archive
PHOTOGRAPHY
- I’m going in today to shoot video for the current Japan Dance School show
- Holiday this past Wednesday: went in to shoot some stills and figure out where to place cameras
- Wasn’t successful with the latter: the room was such a mess that I couldn’t clearly see where I’d have space
- Will also shoot more stills
